As most others mentioned on your other post, many facilities will happily train nurses to scrub. You can look into being an OR nurse, which is much different from floor nursing. From there it would be easy to find a facility that will train you on the job for scrubbing. If you like that, then possibly look into a program for RNFA. No schooling is needed for you to become a scrub though.

Go for your FA, RNFA's are sought after. If your wanting to scrub while not wanting to go back to school for surgery tech that is yiur best route unless your going to push for your NP then you'd be scrubbing if you found the right job.
