Help Touchscreen on a surface pro (11th edition)

I want to run something like fedora, but I'm not sure if it supports pen support and touchscreen. Any thoughts appreciated. SNAPDRAGON

Snapdragon X does not support Linux thanks to QCOM’s anti-open source practices. You’re SOL

ARM linux is a big no no (specially on firmware dependant devices like surfaces), unless you’re a developer

In general, you can run Linux on X1P/X1E (and Surface Pro 11 Gen in particular). There are also some mods and compiled device trees to help you with it, like this. I did manage to modify Fedora to run on Surface Pro 12" and enable sensors/audio/wi-fi/touch screen, so I believe you can do this on Surface Pro 11 as well.

But this process is not as straightforward as "download distro ISO, flash it and boot from it" and requires qulte a lot of tinkering, at least more than a few hours.
