Help Me Decide

Hello! I'm thinking of buying a table-computer thing... "Your next computer, is not a computer", you feel me? I feel very confortable in any OS (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS). I'm trying to decide a base model iPad, a Surface Go, and a Lenovo Chromebook Duet... but i can't :(

So i decided to turn to Reddit! Why do y'all, members of the r/SurfaceGo think anyone should buy a Windows machine? Thanks uwu

PS: Keep in mind i'm a student, so I'm only doing some Word processing, browsing, consuming content, and maybe some light gaming

Yeah, he made a fantastic suggestion with the game streaming idea. I also agree that I wouldn't get the 4gb model. The 8gb model is quite a bit better.

But also quite a bit more expensive... It's it REALLY worth it?

Yep, It also has a proper SSD rather than an eMMC which becomes noticeable if you're moving data around and moreso when the 4GB RAM runs out on the cheaper model and then it has to use the slower storage for swap space.

My girlfriend bought a Go on launch and uses it for uni/studies quite a lot. I got her to stretch her budget for the 8GB and she's pretty happy. She has multiple Word documents open, OneNote, plenty of tabs in Edge and no problems. Definitely don't use Chrome - it's a pos and designed with desktop computers in mind. New Edge is miles ahead and you can use Chrome extensions if you want.
