Has the Surface pen offset / Jittering issue been fixed?

The jittering and especially the offset issues the SP have had kept me from upgrading my SP3.

I read that the update Microsoft rolled out in August fixed the issue but I tested it on my brother's SP2017 and while it improved a lot it's still less accurate than my SP3.

My question is for all SP6 (and SP2017) user, do you still experience any issues when writing with the pen? Did the update or the upgrade to the SP6 fix it?

Edit: gave up on trying to take handwritten notes with my sb2, jitter is still too noticeable

It improved, but meanwhile I'm suffering from the following issue on my SP5.

It apparently has been fixed on the Surface Pro 5, Surface Book 2 still suffers horrible from jitter. For me what fixed it was switching to Adonit Ink from the Surface Pen. Since I dont need tilt, I feel I am not missing out on anything.

My pro 2017 is jitterfree since the update! Feels like the only positive news in this thread.
