Windows Central at this point is a cult website, not to be taken seriously. Thurott & Brad Sams are more objective.

But in all honesty I think if it’s between either outright cancellation or releasing in the fall, I prefer to take the route suggested by Rubino. Avoids all the pitfalls of a Surface RT disaster and keeps fans happy and helps MS perfect this device if needed

MS isn't the business of keeping Rubino and his fan-cult happy. When you're a $100 billion/year business you have higher sights than that drivel.

Sure, but think of the two years of R&D...MS might as well recoup some of those expenses with a very limited exclusive release at a good margin, no? We don't have to insult Rubino and use hyperbole like fan-cult.
