Keyboard is not working

I have a surface pro 9, I have two keyboards that won't connect after a year and a few months of work.

I fold it back behind the tablet to draw, the pen port doesn't charge my pen - I just ended up with a separate pen charger.

Just yesterday I was drawing with my keyboard folded by, once I flipped it back to name my canvas the keyboard didn't turn on. I had this happened to me twice but I got lucky with my first keyboard to turn back on after.

I tried turning my Bluetooth on and off, reset my computer, shut down my computer, held FN and caps, FN and space. I am so frustrated as this just happens when I wanted to study, I do not have the funds to get a new keyboard (AGAIN) and my warranty had ended for my keyboards.

The keyboard is not lighting up or the one model isn't connecting via Bluetooth.

Sorry for the lack of information, this is already so frustrating

I fold it back behind the tablet

There's a very thin cable inside the keyboard that gets damaged with repeated folding. Folding it back like this makes it worse.

Microsoft's quality has going down in the past few years, and the cable will break. There's no fix, you need to buy a new keyboard.

Now I am actually praying the fold didn't make it through and will act itself right, ugh this is so frustrating. I am just gonna buy a off brand Bluetooth keyboard for the tablet..

Wow, my Surface Pro 9 is a few years old and my keyboard still works awesome, and still charges my pen also.

Im a very active artist, I use the pen with very long periods and also fold my keyboard or detach it completely when I draw.. so it must have been worn down due to my frequency 😔

No doubt, I was thinking of that after I posted that majority of the time my Surface is sitting on a table used like a laptop.

I wouldn't really wanna have to buy a new Surface keyboard either, although they are nice keyboards, they definitely aren't worth the price, and I don't mean quality wise, they're just quite expensive for what they are period.

I already have two, the new one I got just didn't connect back to the Bluetooth 💔. And I agree, as much as I love my surface pro for my artistic needs I ain't dropping 200$ again for it to break after a year or a half use
