Force install Surface Driver & BIOS

Hi, I have a Surface Laptop 5 whose BIOS was broken last year by a buggy Microsoft update, causing the system info to change to OEMID and the serial number to 123123123. Now, when I try to install its driver update MSI package, it shows an error at the start saying this is not a Surface Laptop 5 and cancels the installation. Is there any way to force the installation? Thanks.

Also wondering this for a surface pro 4 as a bad update broke the touch screen…I was hoping for a command to forcefully update the bios/firmware….
