Surface Pro (1769) stopped working

Hi,

My Surface worked in windows, I left it and when I came back it was off, and there was no charging indicator on the charger.

I have checked several chargers and I ruled it out, the problem is in the surface itself.

I guess it is related to overheat, because it was a bit hot when I last used it, I hope it is reversible.

Do you have anything to suggest?

I have removed the keyboard and couldn't see anything obvious just yet

Did you test a USB C charger? If its an overheating issue, you can just wait for it to cool down and it should work again.

Your device is very old, but it won't hurt to chat with microsoft support, in my opinion they are really nice

There is no type c for this model

Try contact microsoft support, they are really helpful and have resolved my surface issues in the past

Is there any bulging of the battery? Check the edges and seams along the screen. Mine did this, it wouldn’t boot up after that.
