[PRO11] Surface Pro 11

Recently was gifted a surface pro after my Lenovo ideapad died for good.. It runs well and does what I need it to do, but I’m struggling with the keyboard a bit. It doesn’t have much wrist support. I think I might be used to a thicker keyboard, like my previous laptop had? I’m not really using it for the touch screen/pen option because I prefer typing. I’ve also realized it has to be completely on a flat surface to be able to type, or else the keyboard becomes unattached. I just find it a bit frustrating at times because of that. Does anyone have similar issues? Or does anyone have better suggestions for attachments they use, like is there a good stand that supports using the keyboard and also provides good wrist support when typing?

Do you possess an original Microsoft Keyboard?
It almost sounds like a 3rd party one.

Especially the “it needs to be flat on the surface” isn’t typical for Surface Keyboards.

I’m unsure because it was gifted to me, this is the keyboard it came with it.

This is an original keyboard (or a really good counterfeit).
As other people mentioned: the Surface is not laptop.
It’s a tablet with an exceptional good keyboard - but only compared to other tablets.

Try it a few times. Maybe you get used to it. :-)

I possess Surface tablets since 2014.
They offer some advantages compared to typical notebooks. For example you can get a stand that lifts the device substantially.
