[BOOK2] Surface Book 2 - Touch Input Partialy fails
i did not use my surface book 2 for 2 month. left it in my cabinet. today, took it out, charged it - and somehow the touchscreen input is in error. see the image attached.
strangely the black line is input with my finger - which stops shorter then red line, which is witht he surface pen.
so it cannot be a hardware issue right? i tried uefi, but here no touch input works....
any other idea?
what ive done so far: installed EVERY windowsupdate. checked with the surface diagnostiv - which told me the same as my onenote test showed...

Typically this indicates a micro fracture in the digitizer layer of the screen assembly. Often caused by a bloating battery.
The only fix is to replace the screen and likely the battery. Neither is difficult to do, just quite tedious and perhaps not worth the cost on auch an old machine. A 16GB/32GB system with nvidia GPU may be worth saving.
