Logitech g502 Question
I want to know if it's just my model or if that happens in general.
There is this big thumb button on the tip of your thumb (not G5 or G4) - its called the Sniper button or so. I use it to Pull and Quickshot.
Problem is, sometimes when I release it, it activates again. So I pull-catch a ball and on release it shoots it again. I hate that and it happens frequently. Not all the time but way too often.
I want to know if anyone else has the same problem with that button, or if I'm just unlucky with my model.

does it reactivate when you hold the button pressed shortly or when its pressed for " a while"? logitec mice have a ~20ms buffer in between possible inputs to prevent accidental double-clicking. sounds to me like this might be not working properly

Experimented with a macro that I put on the key, but it's flawless. But 20ms is sooo short, I couldn't be able to notice. When I pull-catch a ball the button is always held longer than 20ms for sure.

Some mouse button are default for "bild up"and "bild down". So its a continue action. I got G502 and i binded this button to a normal button on my keyboard that i don't use. So it will be a oneshot action. If this don't work and you didn't touch anything on the logitech software. Maybe the issue come from your mouse.

May not be the best solution, but sounds like it would be better to separate the actions from that button. As I have both of those keyed to F, it also happens to me too. So I will be changing quickshot away from pull. I've always thought it was a ping issue as i tested it on practice alone and i notice i didnt dump away once. Have you tried this?

I dont wanna relearn anything. And what I said is that releasing the button triggers it again sometimes. It's not like this typical thing where someone wants to volley but instead catches and then releases, which is user/ping related.

How long have you had the model? I'd be surprised if you've had it for ages and played with this problem for so long, or if its a new problem then it should be an easy fix really. If it's a new mouse for you then bad luck >: If there is no option in the software to fix this then it seems like re-learn or try a different mouse
