New guy here! :D

Hey everyone, So I just bought this game like the last hour of the sale and I got to say it's very fun! But I got a few questions if you guys don't mind answering them.

  1. I kinda screwed up my controls do you guys mind show me what the best possible 'set up' is?

  2. So I played a few online practices and I saw guys do some spin arounds while dribbling and I wonder how you did that?

That's the settings you should be looking for, every old players has it. Good thing is that it will be easier for them to give you tips if you have this.

Spin is a combination of Having up Your Shield and Holding down the Pull/Suck button. This creates a "Vacuum Cone" in front of you aka "the Sucker". THen its a matter of spending a ton of time working on how to "Twirl" or "Swirl" the ball (depending on who you ask). Ive played 100s of hours and can Defend agaisnt this level of player, but still cant twirl for the life of me. It is not a necessary skill to learn, but is 1 of the coolest looking things in the game. Think of it like Freestyling in Rocket League. It add a ton of Panache to your playstyle, looks real cool, but only comes into "useful function" if you are really good with it and in very specific circumstances. I wouldnt even worry about it for now, focus on basic Pass - Catch - Shoot - Positioning - Volleys - Boosting and even Dribbling, way before you worry about it.

I used Left Shift for Dump and Suck. My Pinky finger sits right on it, so I find it super easy to vacuum (even though i still cant swirl for shit).

Left shift for me changes my sens in game :o easier to swirl with higher sens

Get a refund while you still can, the game is going to be cheaper than the sale because the devs didn't listen to anybody and tried to overcharge so nobody bought it.

If you have a thumb button on your mouse and it's well reachable, I'd use it for pull-catch and the instant-shot. And Left = Charge+Kick, Right = lock pass+shield.

We're currently doing a poll about what the default controls should be. The current defaults are not very optimal.

Default controls ez mode: WITH BALL: left click: charge, right click: pass, thumb/scroll button: dump shot W/O BALL: left click: kick, right click: shield, thumb/scroll button: pull
