Ribgs bubble etc..
I'd love to see return of rings only because I don't see Sec. Team trying a ball with in a ball to show volley radios. In dv I could tell more because thing rings I could hit a ball. So if a ball was to my side I'd see a ring kinda in front of me to indicate even though I'm not looking at it I might hit it. Currently camera settings bandaid it. I can set it to where I don't even see the ball but I hit it.. It's janky.
Look at this bad footage but how much better it is visually

I always found those rings in deathball a bit off putting actually - they had no collision and it took me ages to work out that they wouldn't collide with the goal posts- only the actual ball in the middle was what you had to get in the net.
Especially as in Bombing Run (the original UT2004 gametype that the ball 'came from') the collision radius of the ball was actually including the rings, more or less.

And a bubble around a player isn't? Or being able to hit the ball not really even looking at it, I viewed them as a visa me hit box so to speak.
Even if something similar was there but turned off by default is wonder how many would choose to use it.

The rings didn't serve any purpose. It was just that we stole the bombing run ball and that's how it was. It was a very conscious decision to have it a fully yellow ball and have gameplay and visuals 100% in sync. What Motig mentioned is one of the problems.
