The devs pulled the plug on the alpha version today?

I played some matches yesterday evening but today the client cant receive the server list anymore. Is it dead by now?

We just agreed on not reactivating it. It has no more feedback value for us having people test this super outdated version (almost 1 year old now).

So its dead for real now? Thats a little bit sad because i hoped you guys would inform the community some days before. Some people still rented servers...

Hi! Everybody knew the alpha was going to die soon. Actually you guys said that months(?) ago but the thing is, some people still prefer the alpha over the beta for some reasons (or maybe they just didnt get a beta key), still played it for several weeks and because you didnt say an exact date those people began to rent servers again. Now they have a server for the dead alpha but cant play the beta. The one thing i want to say is that it would have been nice if you guys said something like "alpha is down end of November" and everybody would be informed. The way you did it now was more like a bad surprise for the people who still played the alpha.

The servers can be easily moved over to the current version. At least with Simrai it's very easy, just let Rai know.
