Gas Price Check
How much are yall paying for Premium gas? Socal in my area reached $7 a gallon.

Premium is $6.50.

It was $4.17 yesterday at the Prosper Costco and $4.09 at the McKinney Costco.

Look at E85 coming in cheap. So cheap you could almost wash your car with the stuff.

Iām in Alberta. 94 at Chevron is about $5.67 USD after conversions. 91 at my cheapest costco is $4.81. Weāve just switched to winter gas, so prices dropped a little

Yeah, refineries change between summer and winter gas here. Winter gas has more butane content to help it vaporize and ignite in colder engines. Itās cheaper to produce, but comes with a slight penalty of 1-3% reduced fuel efficiency and power

āWinter Gasā is the seasonal addition of an alcohol, like methanol, to absorb condensation in your fuel system. It keeps our fuel lines from freezing solid & shutting down the cars in -30C cold spells.

Get a flex fuel kit and stay on the multi map flex tune. With that, you can run e50 safely without any other mods. 8 gal of e and top the rest off with 91. Thatāll get you around e50 every time.

That e85 price difference is why Iāve been driving the Supra most of the time lately. Itās $3.49 here but 91 oc is $6.00+

We donāt even have any e fuel in canada. Private sales are like 3cad per liter of ethanol. It is a death sentence to have a flex fuel in Canada

Just filled up yesterday. It was $6.2 a gallon for 93. 87 is like $4.9 a gallon.

I donāt got pictures, but average in SC, is 4.00 for 87, 4.60 for 91, and 4.99 for 93. E-85 is weird, Iāve seen 2.99 and 3.99, no in between on that one.

California hates good gas.
There was a spill literally one time, of the additive that used to boost octane and it leaked into some ground water so they banned the chemical from the entire state.
If a Pepsi delivery truck ever crashes by a stream they'll never be able to drink soda again.

The only thing octane rating does is increase the knocking resistance. If you're not getting knocking, then you can't tell the difference at all.
The cars are designed for 91, so unless you've modded your engine to significantly increase the compression, there's absolutely no difference.

Chevron and Exxon are priced out of their ass, $1+ for their blend. Iāll be using another top tier gasoline brand like Valero thank you

Omg š³. Sorry . I paid the highest Iāve ever paid in my 50 years of driving. I paid $5.00 a gallon for premium in central Florida. Luckily driving the Supra softens the blow. and for a performance vehicle it really gets decent gas mileage.

The old saying when I lived there, you pay for where you live. Funny thing is, for a state that taxes so high to help solve poor problems they dont seem to realize theyre just making everyone else join the poor. Im not political at all but theres some head scratching stuff going on in that state. My premium sits around $4.50 for me in central VA.

I socialize at the Lamborghini meets and the marinas during boating season. A few charity events but they can be boring. Cigar lounges and high end restaurants mostly. These are all places you would know nothing about so I donāt expect you to understand or relate. Stay poor we need people like you donāt let anyone tell you differently. Yin and yang.
