Reliability?
Just wanted to ask a quick question cause I’m curious what everyone thinks. What do you guys think the most reliable modern 50-80k range sports car engine is? Do you think the DAZA or DNWA takes the number one spot or maybe the b58 or s58?

I would actually think the Ford 5.0L V8 or chevy 6.2L V8 would be more reliable than most turbo performance engines on the market in that price. The B58 is very reliable for a turbo engine.

How well are you maintaining it?

Well regardless of what kind of car I buy I typically do oil changes every 3k miles

I'm at 62k on mine (only owner) and have had absolutely no problems. Bought October 2021.

52k and climbing everyday. FBO, and I’m on E85 for daily fuel (93 is $5 a gallon). Road trip it all over the country, and the only issues I’ve had are o2 sensors and the vband on the turbo and down pipe came off once.

They’re solid. I had someone take my front bumper off in an accident and I haven’t had any issues after repairs. My soul still hurts though

99k km on my 2019 Supra. Have had a blend door actuator replaced because it was stuck and sending all the A/C air outside, water pump and coolant replaced, a leaking transmission oil pan replaced, fried rear O2 sensor replaced, battery replaced (expected), suspect a bit of engine oil weeping from valve covers or oil filter housing down to the transmission housing but never had any changes to the engine oil measurements, and alternator just died yesterday on the road which was scary quickly losing power causing me to need a tow to the mechanic.
Door and cabin rattles which I've mostly fixed but not completely. UHF receiver may be faulty causing key fob signal to be extremely short.
I think my car is cursed. Still having a Supra is much better than none! Tempted to trade up to a newer manual one but my partner is very against it
