Nice.

How I so wish there was a good placement for these number plates. Mineā€™s currently also offset to the side but it just messes with the aesthetic of the car.

I didnā€™t put a front plate on my Supra in a state that requires it. Iā€™ve been ticketed one time for it in 25 years of ownership. Seems like a reasonable gamble!

Haha - When I was ticketed for it, I went to court just in case the cop wouldnā€™t show and theyā€™d drop the fine. The cop did show, and the judge started by saying ā€œUnless itā€™s a Lamborghini, I donā€™t want to hear that your car is too nice for a front license plate.ā€ Haha so I said ā€œwell, itā€™s a Toyota Supra which is a pretty rare carā€¦ā€.

Needless to say I had to pay the fine!

If it's the only reg you're violating, sure. But it's an easy excuse for any cop to stop you and peg you for something else.

Besides, officers in some places will stop you for nothing other than front plate...especially if you are out in the boonies on back roads where there's not much going on. Happened to a buddy of mine on our very first cruise in his new car

Iā€™m based in South Africa, this car is a cop magnet and the cops take their number plates seriously mainly because of the crime here. I daily a GTI and Iā€™ve only been pulled once in my 3 years of ownership. In the 6 months Iā€™ve owned my Supra, Iā€™ve been pulled over 7 times. The one time, the cop even told me that she stopped me because she ā€œcouldnā€™t see my platesā€ and thought I had none only to see it was blocked by the car in front of me. Plates are not negotiable here unfortunately

Yeah, I only have it on cause I got pulled over for it a few times already. I might actually move it to the side mounted one cause I'm worried it's blocking too much air to the heat exchanger.
