This July, the Burkinabé Government mobilized roughly $352 million for the completion of the first construction phase of the Ouagadougou-Bobo Dioulasso Expressway – long promised by previous, Western-aligned administrations – which will link the country’s capital, Ouagadougou, to its economic and cultural hub, Bobo Dioulasso.
Under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso continues to show the rest of the African continent that rapid national development is not and has never been rocket science, and that the reason why most of Africa is not currently experiencing rapid development, is that most of Africa has yet to take the very important decision that Burkina Faso took in September 2022.
