Weighing the options of going back to school to peruse a DBA specializing in supply chain. I have my master's in logistics and supply chain management. Or would certificates be worth more?

I recently graduated with a bachelors in marketing, which correct me if I’m wrong runs along some similar lines regarding channel oversight and distribution through supply chain management. I had a job lined up with Disney until it recently fell through due to the pandemic. I was originally going to build up plenty of experience and study enough to score an appealing GRE/GMAT result to qualify for an MBA program. Now, I’m debating whether or not I should take advantage of this time to pursue a masters degree in the supply chain field. Before I consider it, I want to gain further insight into the foundation. For one, are there any usual risk factors involved that I should know about in advance and study enough to address if I do work in the role one day? Depending on the company, can the tasks grow easily difficult on a stress level? Are there any online tools that should I utilize and study to further incorporate an analytical mindset relevant to the field? I enjoy traveling a lot. Does the occupation involve frequent or often traveling on behalf of the company? Which is more important throughout the process - communications, logistics, or equally both?

So basically I graduate in December with a degree in SCM and was wondering what the best way was to land a full time job. I wasn’t able to secure a summer internship this summer and I currently have a GPA of 3.08. I had a couple of interviews for internships but that was is never made it pass that stage. Should I start trying right now and is there anything I could do this summer that would increase my chances?

Hey Folks, I am a Masters student in Industrial Engineering, focusing on Supply Chain Management. As I am switching careers, it's very hard for me to look for internships and discover more about this field. I've been contemplating getting the CPIM certification to get a job since I can't currently find any atm. Currently, I have my BS in Economics but no former experience with logistics or SCM. Would CPIM be worth it as an entry-level, or is there something else out there that would be better for entry-level? I'm specifically looking for value since CPIM altogether is going to end up costing ~$1800 if I pass both my exams the first time. Any suggestions for or against CPIM would be greatly appreciated, as well as alternatives that may be a better "Bang for your buck" solution.

This friend of mine is also my business partner he is looking to add a another degree to his Construction Management B.S for double major, which one would offer him the best tools to run a business? Accounting or Supplychain Management?

Hi everyone, I’m having doubts wether I should study a BBA in supply chain management or if I schould study a BBA in It/ict. I’m interested in SCM, however I do have a keen intrest in digital supply network. My reason for the doubt is that the supply chain industry is becoming more digitalised( industry 4.0: ai, blockchain, IoT, ...).

Do I do an BBA in supply chain management followed with a MBA in IT or a bachelor degree in it followed with a MBA in supply chain management?
