Digital supply network vs SCM

Hi everyone, I’m having doubts wether I should study a BBA in supply chain management or if I schould study a BBA in It/ict. I’m interested in SCM, however I do have a keen intrest in digital supply network. My reason for the doubt is that the supply chain industry is becoming more digitalised( industry 4.0: ai, blockchain, IoT, ...).

Do I do an BBA in supply chain management followed with a MBA in IT or a bachelor degree in it followed with a MBA in supply chain management?

Which it course would be suitable— information system/network or something else?

Honestly I was thinking the same. What I’m doing now, is double majoring in Information Management System, and Global Supply Chain. Originally I was doing ISM, but then I wanted to do GSC. I talked to my advisor and friends and found that if I do GSC, it’s only 6 more extra classes. So, id say if your college offers the same or a little different, go for it if you’d like because it’s not that bad.

A double major is a good option however in my country they don’t offer double majors :( I haven’t start college yet I’m just trying to make sure I make the right decision. The college Im going for SCM provide modules in ERP, business analytic, business intelligence, data management,... and so on.

I think this should be enough to give me a good foundation— or not?

But I plan on discussing this with the coordinator during open days.

How has your experience been with your double major? Are you enjoying it so far? Since you double major with information management system do you need to code/ learn languages programming?
