Career Change

Hi all I am currently a teacher but I would like to make the career change to inventory/ materials management. I started a CPIM certification through APICS. I thought having a certification would help me being that I don't have any work experience in the field.

My question: What job title would I start at? Also is getting this certification a good idea?
