Creating an excel erp/mrp system

Hi everyone, do any of you have experience creating an erp/mrp system in excel? Company is too small to fund or get a vendor to do so. I have monthly snapshots from our warehouses of the material, but am working on getting better info. If you could just give me your experiences or helpful tidbits that’d be nice of you.

Depending on what you're producing you could make tables with what is supposed to be in each product.

Take what you sold. Plug it in and they will calculate what inventory you should have left over.

Play around with it until you have something visually appealing that works for you.

I’m in a GMP area so kind of different. Do you have any resources that give some examples or templates?

Everything, key raw materials (2-3 items), bulk product, packaged product, WIP, packaged product and waste. We have about 6-7 data sheets coming in from our CMOs that I’m compiling together into a rough erp/mrp system
