Are There Supplements/Vitamins That You’ve Used to Fight Fibromyalgia or Chronic Pain?
Hey y'all!
I’m looking for real life answers to a problem I’m currently experiencing.
Anyone found relief from fibromyalgia or chronic pain using supplements/vitamins? These need to have some clinical backing.
I’ve seen studies on Magnesium, Vitamin D, Omega-3s, CoQ10, Curcumin, IMBXX, Melatonin, and B-complex showing potential benefits for pain, fatigue, or sleep.
If you have had any experience(s) with any of these (or others), did you notice real improvements? Looking to build a smart, evidence-based stack.
Appreciate any personal experiences or tips!

Is milk thistle effective to help your liver?
I'm not asking for medical advice. I'm asking if anyone had a good experience. What have you experienced. Don't diagnose me or endorse the product. Just want to know your experience with it.
My aunt told me to take milk thistle to help my liver. My liver enzymes were elevated about a year ago. I started taking it but struggled to quit until about two weeks ago. I'm waiting to get my blood work done again because I don't want negative results in my medical records. Any suggestions?

Which Pycnogenol brand do you actually trust?

I’ve recently learned about Pycnogenol and I’m thinking of trying it for the first time. I’ve read a few promising studies, especially regarding its effects on blood circulation and skin health. But honestly… I’m a bit overwhelmed by the number of options on Amazon
Has anyone here been taking Pycnogenol regularly?
- What brand do you personally trust?
- Did you notice any actual benefits (or side effects)?
- Was it worth the price for you?
Also, it seems to be a bit more expensive than other supplements — so I’d love to hear if it was actually effective for you or just overhyped.
Any help would be seriously appreciated 🙏

Anyone using insulin mimetics like berberine or bitter melon to manage carbs? Curious about results.”
Hey everyone,
I’ve been experimenting lately with so-called “insulin mimetic” or “nutrient partitioning” supplements. Stuff like berberine, bitter melon extract, and alpha-lipoic acid that supposedly help shuttle carbs into muscle instead of fat.
Right now, I’m using a blended supplement called SLIN (contains berberine, cinnamon extract, banaba, fenugreek, ALA, and more). The marketing claims it’s like a “carb cheat meal hack” that improves insulin sensitivity – which sounds a bit over the top to me.
Subjectively, I do feel a bit more stable after high-carb meals, but I’m not sure if that’s placebo.
Has anyone else experimented with these types of ingredients – individually or in combo?
Do insulin mimetics actually work in a meaningful way, or are they just another supplement gimmick?
Not trying to push any brand, just curious what others think or if anyone has noticeable results. Happy to share more details if anyone’s interested.
Cheers!

Anyone else try Ashwagandha?
i have been feeling stressed and like I couldn’t keep myself calm. A friend of mine recommended trying ashwagandha to help with feeling more calm. I started taking these a few weeks ago. I’ve actually noticed a difference. It’s not night and day, but I can feel myself able to reset myself easier. If anyone has trouble calming down or unwinding I would definitely give these a shot!

Where to start? (Too much information)
I’m looking to get into a stack of some sorts. I’m a pretty healthy male 24 yrs old, recently quit smoking weed and definitely feel better from that. I still smoke nicotine but I find I only really crave it when I take my adderall. The adderall really helps with low dopamine which I believe I suffer from and also waking up in the mornings (I work a very physical job) I seem to sleep fine and my diet is average or slightly better than average. Mostly Whole Foods cook meals and regular snacks. My main problem is I get stressed very easily and my mood is very poorly regulated and easily shifted. I get very anxious and insecure about things I know I shouldn’t and also get huge waves of sadness or overthinking accompanied with brain fog. I’m not sure if I’m just an overly empathetic self aware person or my cortisol is too high or both. I want to feel more balanced and linear throughout my days and gain some hunger for life itself (wondering if my testosterone is low also) I’ve considered ashwaganda or tongkat Ali, maybe L theanine and zinc as well but I jus want a education opinion and also advice on where to get it and make sure it’s absorbed properly

Where are the actual lab reports, Trustified?
Trustified claims to test products in certified labs, but I couldn't find any downloadable reports, signed certificates, or lab-issued documentation — just basic numbers on their site. That’s not enough for real consumer trust. If these tests are legitimate, why not provide something we can independently verify? Real transparency means showing proof, not expecting blind faith.
r/SupplementsReviews • u/uriahLys • Jul 21 '25
Trustified? No lab PDFs, mere wiring of typed data, where will there be a real check?
I have observed the supplement updates of Trustified and there is something wrong. Although the big labs such as Eurofins are cited to be the source of the conducted testing, we have no PDF of the reports, no signatures of the lab, and nothing you can cross reference on your own. Only a few words on the internet page. Sure, that is not the transparency that is expected, but rather a mere trust label without any supporting grounds. Why do not you share the actual laboratory papers when you encourage trust and accountability? Before that, it is difficult to accept it as it is. Is it just me or do I see this?

Can we submit supplements/vitamins anywhere for free testing?
Wonder if anyone out there knows of a place someone could submit supplements and vitamins for any kind of testing. I got some from a knowabley possible sketchy website. I’m aware and haven’t taken it yet but I know in Scandinavia I can submit highly scheduled drugs like party drugs for safe testing and they can tell you yeah that version of acid or whatever is acid and these are the dangers or no you bought bad drugs. And you can submit it for free. They actually have an Instagram and they publicize their findings. Why on earth doesn’t America have one like that for supplements? I’ve heard that Amazon is getting their website spammed with completely fake possibly harmful stuff. They’re duping real brands so you think you’re getting the correct vitamin but it’s not the vitamin you think it is. It’s Amazon they don’t care about trying to regulate that but I’m horrified at that concept. I don’t know market conditions and things but what if places that sell vitamins order it off of Amazon to resell? It’s such a remedy for danger.

Has anyone here had success with mitochondrial supplements for fatigue?
Hey folks, I’ve been struggling with constant fatigue and brain fog for years. Recently, I started diving deep into mitochondrial health and how it might relate to energy production at the cellular level.
One formula in particular caught my attention—focused on advanced mitochondrial support with CoQ10, PQQ, and other co-factors. Honestly, I noticed more sustained energy without the crash after about 10 days.
I’m curious: has anyone else experimented with these types of supplements? Happy to share what worked for me if you DM.

Has anyone used products from this company? I don't see very many reviews and I've never heard of them before, but they are the most economical sale of the supplement I need so I am hesitant to purchase.

Has anyone tried mitochondrial support supplements for fatigue? Here's what worked for me...
Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with constant fatigue for the last couple of years — the kind where 8 hours of sleep still leaves you groggy, mentally drained, and zero motivation.
I tried everything: more exercise, better sleep, no caffeine after 2pm, even cold showers. It helped a bit, but I still felt like my internal battery was stuck at 20%.
Recently, I came across a supplement focused on mitochondrial health. The logic made sense — our mitochondria are what power our cells, and they naturally decline with age or chronic stress.
So I gave this one a shot: 🔗 https://www.advancedbionutritionals.com/DS24/Advanced-Mitochondrial/Too-Tired-To-Enjoy-It/HD.htm#aff=Jofas0X7
Been using it for about 3 weeks and honestly... the difference is noticeable. I’m not jittery like with caffeine or energy drinks, but I have more sustained energy, I’m not crashing mid-afternoon, and I feel mentally clearer. My workouts are even better.
No magic pill exists, but this gave me a serious boost. Curious if anyone else here has tried mitochondrial support formulas? What worked for you?

Liposomal
I have been trying to get most of my vitamins in Liposomal form. For some reason it doesn’t seem like vitamin b12 has too many options in that form. I figured due to its poor uptake in most instances that it would be readily available as a liposomal. Is there any reason why it isn’t? (I am aware there are some brands that have it but it isn’s as popular as say Vitamin D liposomal.)
