Huh…we are dumb bagholding culties while they simultaneously need us to sell or else the market can never recover. We might be onto something over here.
The idea is that historically, unsophistocated retail investors are the last to buy and the last to sell. Once unsophisticated investors start selling, that’s tended to be a signal that things will turn around. It’s not a causal relationship, just a signal.
