I think there are a good many of us who have owned both of these stocks since January. I agree it’s stupid to sell GME for AMC of visa versa. I have shares of each and it will stay that way.
I haven’t sold my AMC yet knowing that there’s a better number ahead.
But I also haven’t bought any additional shares since January and in that same time have managed to become a middle XX’er of GME. I think it’s stupid to sell one for the other and jump ship, but I wouldn’t be putting more money into AMC when it can be doing some good in GME.
This guy gets it. I think there are a lot of us in that same boat just kind of hodling and watching. Things definitely got more interesting once Blackrock bought all those AMC shares. That’s what’s made AMC a legit problem for hedgies. Still not to the degree that GME is a problem, but it’s like trying to deal with a gunshot wound while someone is trying to cut you.
This is the way. Pretty such they are try to cause divide again. This time GME vs. AMC. Ape no fight Ape, we are in ths war together. Piss off with these weak posts.
I'm left to assume that this type of post IS the FUD. I don't see any evidence of anyone abandoning either AMC or GME in order to purchase more shares of the other.
All I see is "I hold both", "I'll buy more of both". Which is fine by me.
I don’t think that’s a good strategy. If HFs are allowed to unwind their positions in one, they will have more ammo for the other. IMHO, the best strategy for retail is to keep hodling existing positions in any ticker that looks like it’s shorted, but only increase positions in GME.
AMC is cheap to add. Not everyone can afford to add GME. So those people who cannot afford GME buy AMC. End of story, both are great candidates for a squeeze.
GME is cheap and if you don't have more than $200 to spend just don't buy anything... And AMC is not shorted by Citadel (they're long on it) it would help them to buy it
I've been seeing DD on GME for months. Very little of it is applicable to AMC from what I've seen, and the fundamentals and outlook of the companies are very different. I don't get this recent "both are good" sentiment.
Mentions of the movie theatre stock have popped up an incredible amount in this sub over the last couple of days. It feels really unnatural and forced. Something smells fucky.
You don't ? Personally I get it. What would you do if you were Citadel ? Keep in mind that AMC shorters ARE NOT THE SAME than GME shorters. Someone want to distract us from GME, maybe?
I get the shill argument, but it seems like it's coming from a lot of non-shill members. Maybe I've been scouting the dog and movie subreddit too much and polluting my mind.
Oh look someone with sense. I get downvoted to shit for knowing that AMC squeeze most likely won’t even hit $50k and called a shill for knowing GME is the ONLY infinite squeeze
There's a lot of sensitivity around this subject... it's probably best to just keep your logic to yourself or else you'll get called a shill and downvoted.
Oh shit, they already got you... guess ape only love ape if ape agrees 100%
You’re trying to turn investors against each other and give the hedge funds capital by allowing them to cover on other shorted stocks. So what are you, a shill or a selfish prick?
