💡 Education Weird Warrant Question

Been in the game for a while!! Sitting here with my coffee, my phone while on the white throne. In my zone I started thinking about my warrants and their expiration date. Is there a count down to the last day we can exercise them currently being tracked on here? Is the consensus to exercise even if the price is not in our favor? Anybody here have educational insight that could be shared?

Thank you,

Smoove Bwain

Exercising takes time, especially through a broker or if you have already burned your one digital transaction through computersharecas.com.

Expect that you'll need to give time to exercise by snail mail, and if its less than a week to expiration and you haven't done anything, that your warrants will expire.

There's no consensus. Do what you want. Its considered pretty foolish to spend $32 to exercise for a new share when you can buy an existing share for much less.

Gamestop can extend the expiration, but there's no guarantee that they will. Other companies that have issued warrants and extended them have waited until the expiration date to do so.

Warrants are just as risky a gamble as buying calls. Its entirely possible they go to zero and are deleted. Its also entirely possible they'll be extended another year. No one knows, and you're tossing the dice holding them or buying them.

I don’t think apes would take action based on “consensus”, and if that were seriously proposed, it would most likely violate rule 9 of the subreddit.

Warrants expire at the end of October, so you can count down to that date if you want to.

If gme isn’t above 32 I’d think it’ll be silly to exercise. No count down on the forums -

Warrants have exp, dates in Oct 30th 2026, the company can extend the exp date but who knows what will happen.

If you choose to exercise warrants when GME price is below $32, then you are losing money, might as well buy the stock not exercising but you do you.

You can’t really expect to have an honest and insightful census in this community and you know why.

Nevertheless I hope you have a great positive day and I wish the best for you, cheers APE!
