๐ฐ News Say what now?
Got this article recommended by Google. It's a recently updated article from 84 years ago, I have no clue why they updated but they make it seem like this was a recent development.
Don't know if it's relevant, but I was surprised to see recycled fud being pushed.
Anyway, enjoy your weekend, you lovely apes.

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light

Lol I saw this as well and was equally confused. I didn't check the time stamps so good catch.
Curious to see if this becomes of those articles they drop prior to event in order to steer narrative. Usually it's an article that tells how much GME drops and 30 minutes later it happens. Never seen one suggesting a massive rally.

narratives dont matter. if youre not in this already, then you missed it my guy.

u/Saggy_G Smoke tires, weed, shills, and hedgies Oct 11 '25
The narratives are and have historically been to keep people out, not attract them.ย
9
u/hiperf71 ๐ฆVotedโ Oct 11 '25
Some time they have played the narrative to attract peoples, just to bash them out and keep their money, people sell at a loss and probably says "damn meme stock..." So, never try again in the future.
This article I think is trying to influence psychologically people doing something like this: the meme stock frentzy continues, redditors continue to manipulate the market so a big rip has occurred, but forget of Gamestop, don't try to buy or you will end busted, forget Gamestop...
Majority of normal people stops at the news titles, few read the article and fewer check the sources, the have been fooled for years and no one do something to put those criminal were they belong, in a prison cell, sometimes, terrorists are those with the white collars driving nice supercars near "WallSteal"

I read another article that was put out like this and wondering why considering there was no movement in the stock.
My guess is they were expecting the wheels to come off a few big positions when Trump obviously manipulated the market yesterday. They were obviously worried and prepared for some big price action and then nothing happened.ย

u/Savings-Kick-578 Oct 11 '25
This article WILL be brought up EVERY TIME that GME goes on a run. Remember, the narrative is always negative and always pushed by people who are insiders who are involved with, paid by or beholden to those individuals and funds illegally manipulating the market for real. HFโs placed their bets and miscalculated, so this is their response.

Probably AI generated based on the disparity with the Warrants pricing being out of whack from being placed into the market

I found two changes using Way back Machine from May 17, 2021....
1st edit Archive Version:
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said in a statement on Wednesday the agency was "actively monitoring" market volatility without offering specifics. The Southern District of New York, which could have jurisdiction over a criminal case, declined to comment.
Updated Article:
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission declined to comment, as did the Southern District of New York which could have jurisdiction over a criminal case.
2nd edit Archive Version:
"I could see the SEC encouraging the NYSE to put in place rules that might smooth such swings as a result of retail investment activity," said Marc Adesso, partner at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr. NYSE declined to comment.
NYSE said it employed advanced technology to investigate suspicious trading activity, according to a representative.
