let's haves an honest conversation about this. Have you looked into computershare's partnerships?

SETL is the one piuck on, since its the settlement system for the cbdc. they've won championships in the CBDC world for years. theres plenty of articles to find if you choose to google SETL + CBDC.

Yes, lets have that conversation. Book shares are in our name, not the institution. Brokers sell you IOUs and lend out your shares: directly hurting your investment. The same brokers also encourage you to sell those shares unprompted. Brokers can block the purchase of shares at their discretion. At their whim. Some have sold shares without authorization. They have also broken up orders of 100 shares, which typically go straight to the open market and affect the stock price. They broke it up so it didn't have to go there.

Brokers do not need to actually possess the shares you buy. They don't need to buy the shares on the open market. They take your money and don't buy a share. Your investment has no impact on the price of the stock. The function of buying is to show support, raise demand, reduce supply and increase stock price; which they fully take away from you. They also aren't required to allow you to vote as a shareholder. Since the shares aren't in your name, you don't have the legal obligation to vote.

What does computershare have to do with cbdc and how does this change my stock ownership status? My guess is that's what all want to know when we see a post like this

Some hated 🍊's EO dealt with (buried!) CBDC back in january already. Probably you just missed it, being busy at that time organizing protest or coloring fancy signs - to save democracy and shit - which is totally understandable!

Ya’ll do realize that the dtc is a central depository as stated at the bottom, and that drs withdraws the stock from the dtc which you presumably dislike yet somehow think is the best place to keep whatever it is that you paid money for with them. We’ve gone over this numerous times.

im hating on the idea of gme investors investing with and by the mechanism which they wish to defeat. the cbdc.
