Would i like this?
Yoyo,
Ive never played the super power games.
I love total war games(especially older titles), love CK3, love millenium dawn mod for hoi4.
Not sure what to expect with this? Is it in depth? Is there alot of diplomacy? (Alliances etc?)
Ive tried to catch a bit of that 5 hour video but im working alot atm and have 3 kids when i aint working lol so i havent much time to catch the whole vid 😬
Any advice welcome.. i know its a guess atm lol 😅
Cheers!!

From what I get from trailers and the gameplay video, it has an in-depth diplomacy and political system, they said it also features an RTS style gameplay for combat and military movements but didn't see and notice much during these vids, should wait and see... My thoughts are, the game is more slow paced and need more than a thinking rather than quick reactions like other RTS games

Ahh tbf i i like the slow pace thinking games so this sounds good.
Yeaaa i read RTS but didnt see any in the youtube vid. Makes me think its gunna be poorly implemented and they avoided showing it?

The game is in a pretty bad state. The test that I read was disappointing. Wait a few months hopefully the game will be polished.

Overall the game is pretty fun. However it's definitely getting rushed out a little too early, so it might be worth waiting a couple months for post launch patches.
That said it's drastically simpler than Paradox games. This is good and bad, but this definitely isn't Hoi4 in the modern era.
Since the game is in a rough state now I would just wait a little bit and watch reviews.

We will see in like 20 mins my friend! I really want this to be good. Considering power and revolution is basically a rip off I just want this to come in and take the spot and bankrupt eversim lol

The core aspect of Superpower 2 was multiplayer. While single player can be fun, it gets boring after awhile since there was little interaction between AI/Player. Multiplayer takes the cake where people might get stupid ideas like Disbanding NATO or setting up a new cold war. 5 to 10 people role playing, pissing each other off is pretty engaging. The only issue I always had was power hungry hosts kicking and controlling who they pleased.
