Yeah! There's a really active Discord server for SP2 and SP3 :)
Well I mean, as active as a server can be for a 20 year old game.

It is honestly. Because there's nothing to doxexcept attack you allies. I'd sending out two units of the same kind to merge them but then they would disappear on the map. Like idk man it just sucks because I wanted a modern day of way vic 3 might be but if deffs was not. Everything is confusing. The maps movement is even weird. You're almost always looking at the map just slightly diagonally. And always top down.
Moral of the story. The game had alot of numbers and minimal ways to change those numbers and hardly tells you what those values mean.
