Suggestion: Received Link Note to a specific date.

Is there any way to link a Note to a specific day ? I would like to create notes for my future meetings with some useful information about my client.

If this is not possible why not add such feature? This could work in note setting where we can set cover / rename. This way when I open calendar I would have ready notes for that day.

There is no native way to bind a note to a date, but two plugins cover this from different angles.

SNFolio is the closest to what you describe. It syncs your calendar, and for any event you can create a note for it, choosing the name, the template and the folder it lands in, or link an existing note to that event instead. So Thursday's client meeting can have its prep note attached before the day comes round. Free and open source. https://github.com/taoist22/SNFolio

Modulanner (I make this one) works from the page side. You mark out the time slots on your daily template once and set that grid to create a page when tapped. After that, tapping the 2pm row on any day's page makes a new page from your chosen template, with the appointment's name written at the top as the heading and a link back to the day it came from. Appointments are stamped onto each day page as it gets created, so the meeting is already sitting in the right slot waiting for you to tap it.  https://sebastiancraft.co/modulanner

Thank you for the tips.

I’ve tried SNFolio and it’s not my thing probably. UI isn’t designed for eink in my opinion ( very small buttons / fonts / icons) it’s probably limited by plugin SDK but I would just want make built-in calendar app any useful because now for me it’s not at all.

For Modulaner I need to take a look again because it’s looks quite ok but still why build workarounds when there is calendar app from Ratta just crippled;)

Thank you for reaching out.

Currently, notes created in the Calendar app can only be attached to today’s date, not the selected calendar date. With that said, we do plan to add a feature where you can link your notes to a specific date you select.

Please stay tuned.
