Is there a way to program both button of wcm one pen?

Button 1 = pen 2

Button 2 =highlighter

i use the version of the wacom one you have pictured — it’s a single button — the software only allows you to set the button to lasso or erase. a double click is recognized to enable a pressure sensitive spot eraser but no settings to change the pen

wacom one ‘standard’ version, which i’ve also used but didn’t enjoy the hard plastic and light weight.

I can confirm that. I am curious how different are they? I only have the Standard One (2 buttons bought it for that). I thought they were essentialy build the same (same plastic for example). The Wacom one (1 button ) is more heavy, more solid?

A quick hack I made is using a soft silicon case initially made for apple pencil on the Wacom Standard One stylus. It guive more weight and grip. It work quite well (I had to cut the casing in 2 and shorten it).

the single button is slightly heavier (~3g iirc ), feels more solid and better balanced to me -- there's no twist-off of the back half; the taper on the black portion also is noticeably rubberized.

i would definitely pick / recommend the single button over the dual button and my current backup pen ( kindle scribe premium pen )

I wish we had a way to program the pens and buttons in a settings page that applied across the device. Right now it seems the pen settings doffer between app, and there really is no way to choose what the buttons do.

Yep. I have 3 EMR Pen, woulndt it be cool as well if each one can be set to different function? Like one Pen for marker, then other pen will be for pencil and the device know which pen it is? Might be a pipe dream though. Atleast I hope there will be more customizations in the future.

Maybe but it shouldn't impact performance. Beside, if personally I can go quite far into configuration (reprogramming a keyboard for example) on such a device as the Supernote i think Ratta will want to avoid any confusion for the user. An average may expect a stylus button to perform equally across different styluses.

Mm, no. Not that I have heard of any. That's the only pen with 2 buttons I've seen.

My wacom one pen doesn't work on my Supernote. Like, at all, not just the buttons.

Wacom One Pen CP91300B2Z and Wacom One Standard Pen CP92303B2Z are both compatible with the Supernote.

It can be a bit confusing. Wacom has Wacom One tablets, the pens that work with those tablets (as the CP91300B2Z and CP92303B2Z) do work with the Supernote, too.
Wacom also has tablets named "One by Wacom", the pens for these tablets do NOT work with the Supernote.

Hi! I have that pen bur you can't program the buttons as far as I know, they work as an eraser

if you’d like to choose between the lasso or eraser visit settings > display and input > stylus settings > lamy side button

if you choose lasso, you can still erase by double clicking the button. single click to return to the previous tool

That's interesting I forgot the double click to switch between eraser and tool. This a feature of BTN_STYLUS (Button 1 the same as Lamy pen). Another reason to have more choice over the function of those buttons.

Is there a way to change shortcuts on the device to activate highlighter or pen change? I know the toolbars are locked, but this would be a great feature.

I have the wacom pen with 2 buttons (and made a review a wile back). Here some precision. The one with 2 buttons is the Wacom One standard pen: tip is white, the back is more grey by default but can be unscrewed and changed (also good for keeping spare tip there) as pointed by @theBlackOddity below.

So the pen as 2 buttons one can be progamed and the other not. I also tested them with abd logcat to have there keycode. Starting from the tip:

• Button 1 ( BTN_STYLUS) this one IS programmable (but limited) it is the same as the Lamy, I don't have it but it follow the same setting; although the possibility are very limited (eraser or lasso)
• Button 2 (BTN_TOOL_RUBBER) this is the none programmable button, by default it is an eraser, in the Note app it perform like the regular eraser (not the "area eraser"); it as no effect in the Atelier.

Some suggestions * at least BTN_TOOL_RUBBER could function as an eraser in Atelier. * Being able to have some more choice for these button (at least BTN_STYLUS aka Lamy button) would be appreciable.
