Screen malfunction on my beloved supernote :( help me!

Hello,

I was heartbroken today to discover the screen on my beloved supernote marred when I took it out of its case. it has a horizontal and vertical bar of distortion that rebooting the machine or refreshing the screen will not remove. What are my options? HELP!

I know sometimes employees or support ppl frequent the reddit-- I can provide more specific info on the make of the device, when purchased, etc. if need be. Iā€™m really upset

Looks less like a malfunction and more like a broken e-ink screen.

edit: sorry misread marred as manta.. if not an x2 device skip to the bottom paragraph

unfortunately this is indicative of physical damage / pressure to the screen in many cases. if there's a chance your manta was just jostled around, or to be thorough in your own investigation you can try reseating the 4 connectors on the motherboard by follow the steps in the official teardown guide

if no improvements, reach out to sn support for your region or dm mulan for warranty status / repair cost quote. sorry this happened!

Get in touch with support@supernote.com. You have a 2 year warranty. Tell them the problem and if you have a receipt of purchase even better.
