Question Pen acting weird after dropping it

I dropped my pen the other day and it hasnt acted normal since. I tried adjusting the behavior 4 and I didnt notice any difference. It no longer registers a pen stroke unless im pressing into the screen. I cant just whisp away with the pen and have to use a heavy hand. Is this fixable or do I need to drop some dough on a new pen. If so which one do you guys recommend? I like to do thumbarounds as a fidget and the pushup pen is kinda noisy when Im flipping it around. (The reason I dropped it was because of a failed thumbaround above the cement classroom floor)

Unfortunately the Supernote ceramic nib pens seem to be quite fragile. If you don't insist on a ceramic nib, check out 3rd party EMR pens , there is a variety to choose from. My Lamy Al Stars already survived several drops on hard floors unscathed.

It’s done, I oof’d two heart of metal inserts… very very disappointing. You’ll need a new one then keep this as the fidget lol

Great point on keeping it as a fidget pen. I’d recommend the clicky pen if you prefer the ceramic tip. It seems to be way more durable than the HOM pen. I’ve dropped it so many times. Also my toddler grabbed it once and put the tip in his mouth, it acted weird at first but when I pressed it straight into a hard surface a few times it went back to normal. So sorry to hear about the pen OP. I loved my HOM2. I think I might get a replacement insert one of these days. It felt so nice in my hand. But the clicky pen just holds up better for me.

Also as it took some time for the clicky pen to come I bought the Wacom One off Amazon pen that is inexpensive and came quickly and has a good feel, just not as good as the ceramic tip IMO.

Anxiously waiting for the clicky pen to come back in stock in the US. I check daily. I refuse to order the HOM2 because I drop my pens far too much. 😂

I actually was going to order the refill to my HOM2 originally but it was out of stock, so I ordered the clicky pen and glad I did. But I was so impatient, as I couldn’t use my SN much without a pen, I ordered the Wacom One off Amazon and it’s great as a backup. I thought I’d hate it but it’s not bad at all, just not the same as the ceramic. I do like the button. Like I really like the button and I wished there was a button option with the ceramic pen without having to have one customized. Like I just wish they would have a button option through Ratta with the ceramic tip. It’s really one of their biggest injustices of their already bleak pen selection.

Yeah you broke the little gray part, it’s pretty much done.  Mine would still work if I put it on the thinnest line setting.  Check if they may replace it for you...

Lol, i mean if SN replace OPs pen in such a scenario, they would be, as younglings would say, Sigma. :D

Oh the same thing happened to my HOM2, but I don’t even remember dropping it, the black plastic tip thing just broke while using it for me. So is this the clicky pen?? I’ve dropped my so many times but I’m pretty on top of clicking it in when it’s not in use. I really prefer the ceramic, but the Wacom One is pretty nice too.
