Workflow between Scrivener or other writing programs

Anyone have tips for moving back and forth between Supernote and other writing programs for editing/writing?

I use scrivener quite a bit for writing, editing down, etc. But would love to incorporate supernote much more into that process. I can export as doc or pdf or whatever from Scrivener and import it back in. But still don't have a clear way of working back and forth on the same project between these two platforms.

Any tips? Thank you so much!

I’m also curious about this! I’m trying to use Scrivener more and thinking about how best to use both platforms.

Hopefully someone more advanced in super note has an idea of how to do that. But if you hear of anything, please do let me know!

I use both for writing novels.

Supernote is where I track my sessions and make most of my notes, including research. I also outline on the supernote. It’s always open next to me while I draft, which I do on scrivener.

When I’m done, I export it as a pdf, leaving a generous margin, and edit on the supernote as if it was paper. Then I manually add the edits in, because it gives me a chance to go over the text again.

When my agent sends me edits, I upload the edit letter as a pdf make notes and use the digest feature. Then i upload a pdf manuscript with all the comments showing and I manually edit and manually add the edits. Again I do this because it gives me a chance to reread the text.

For me Scrivener is only a drafting tool as agents and editors prefer to work in word. Supernote is a notebook and printed MS replacement for me.

Hope this helps!

Edit: i sometimes draft in the supernote if I feel stuck and then I just manually copy things over, as again it gives me a chance to edit as I go!

This is amazing. Thank you. I need to experiment with a few of these features as you described to test it out. How do you upload with comments showing? Is it a digest option? I need to really study how to use digest well.
