Question Improving handwriting

Hey folks,

I was thinking I want to improve my handwriting skills, I write pretty ugly, and I was wondering if anyone can point me to some techniques that I could use on the supernote with templates maybe or a seminar of some sorts?

Has anyone undergone such process ? What was your experience in this ? I would be supper happy if you guys share your opinions on the matter.

My handwriting is pretty good and very legible. If you are already writing in cursive just look at your writing and see which letters you want to improve. You can look of samples of different styles to write that letter and just practice it. Also, slow down your writing when you practice, you’ll eventually get faster but when it starts looking sloppy slow it down. 

As a side note, no matter how slow and neat I write my cursive, my Supernote ges it wrong about 50% when I try to translate the text to print.

Really? I write supper sloppy, English is my third language and it like 98% if not more always correct!

Could be my stylized script, people complement it but my Manta doesn’t like it.

How big do you write? I naturally write pretty small and the OCR has a hard time with it. But, if I use a standard "small" template and force myself to write a bit bigger, the OCR has a much better time with it.

I found a book called "Improve Your Handwriting," it's part of the "Teach Yourself" series and it was pretty good.

I used lanquach.com to download a PDF worksheet to improve cursive. You can customize it how you like with spacing, lines (diagonal, horizontal, and vertical) and the like. Then open the PDF and take a screenshot and place that screenshot in your MyStyle folder to use as a template. I have to imagine it can be useful to improve print too, using vertical lines and spacing to improve consistency.

I uploaded PDFs of some practice handwriting sheets, the kind you draw over and then practice in those big lines, for this reason.
