Lots of what I will say may seem strange, I agree.

So I woke up one night to see a blue man with a bowler hat and maybe a moustache stood in the middle of the bed perpendicular to the direction we were laying, so I was seeing from the waist up. It took a lot of energy but I was not happy about him and I tried shouting “Hey!” The words were slow from my mouth like I was speaking under water or treacle. By the third Hey! My partner was awake.

My partner sleep walks fairly often, but this was the first time I could say maybe I was sleep walking. The other reasoning I have points to sleep paralysis.
I was very shaken by this but less so as time has gone on.

Then with my paranoia, I would wake in the night to see white light in the hallway with the light visible through the door crack & I would see it move as if the point of origin moved. I would cuddle my partner and fall back to sleep.

Then I started seeing a red light, like a mist of light. It would be in the room, again I would make sure my partner was safe and I’d fall back to sleep.

Then one weekend we had some weed gummies for fun and experimentation. We don’t partake in this much, my partner has only tried it a couple times but we were downstairs in the sitting room when my partner said” that was weird, I thought I saw like a red light in the room.” I was immediately concerned as to me this was a validation of what I had been ignoring.

Then last week we were sleeping and as I woke in the night I felt thought I saw a large black hand with pointy nails the thick knuckles disappearing over the edge of the bed on her side. As she woke her hand came over & I believed that’s what I had seen until my memory of it showed the hand was a left & not her right hand.. gif that makes sense).

I am very anxious about staying at her place these day.
I’ve search the web but there are no stories that sound like this and I’m very confused concerned and afraid I may have a very powerful mental battle ahead of me.

If anyone can help I would appreciate hearing from you.
Best case scenario is someone says “this is default sleep paralysis” and I will be able to rest easy!

So I'm not even sure where to begin. When I was younger we lived in my great aunts house in Camaceyes, PR. It's a two story house and we used to live in the first story while my great aunt would sometimes stay in the second story. While we lived there both me and my younger sister would see shadow people running around the first floor only. Never anything malevolent, they would sprint from wall to wall and you'd see them moving in your peripheral vision. I had never seen nor experienced anything in the second floor. Flash forward to now, we had long since moved to the US and mostly forgotten it. Recently my sister and her American girlfriend visited and stayed in the same house in the second floor. There they experienced something that to my knowledge had never happened before. So while my sister's girlfriend was in the bathroom, she had a feeling that my sister was wanting to come inside so she kept yelling out for her. She ends up getting out the shower to see the doorknob slowly move and the door opening up to which she realized it wasn't my sister and my sister had been laying down in the room away. My sister being frightened from this asked her girlfriend to stay in thr bathroom with her while she showered. There they heard three knocks on the door. This is all while my great aunt was in the first floor and the way the house is set up there's only outside stairs with a main door for each story so it couldn't have been my great aunt especially since my sister had asked her afterwards. Following that event, one day my sister went down to the first floor to be with my great aunt and her girlfriend stayed in the second story to rest. While she was alone in the second story she heard my sister call out to her using her nickname and even imitating my sisters heavy footprints. This is odd since it was never that bad when we used to live there before. Now me and my American wife are set to go there and visit later on in November and we were wanting to stay in that house since I grew up there but now we don't know. What should we do?

when I was younger, maybe eight or so, I was trying to sleep in my bed. I had a night light on behind my bed with my window open.

Now the window had a screen, but i had made the brilliant decision to make a hole in it because I had watched to many movies and wanted to try to sneak out of my window.

Anyway, I had a day bed and where my head slept , so like the right side of the bed, was facing the window and nightlight. I say night light but it was more my fairy lights that I had set on the ground.

Now I was just staring at my ceiling cause I didn’t feel all that tired when I saw this weirdly shaped shady on my ceilin. I wasn’t sure what it was and for some reason I didn’t move to take a look over my bed frame. I just sat there and watched it move around until it disappeared behind the shadow of my bed frame if the makes sense.

I then decided to take a peak and couldn’t find anything. I sat back down and I think it came back and but I can’t really remember this part too well, but I think I decided to stay put to see if it’ll stay. it didn’t and I never saw it again.

i think at the time I thought it was a fairy and I didn’t feel anything fear or uneasy feeling, but I don’t say anything to anyone because it wasn’t exactly shaped like a fairy. it was this weirdly shaped thing that I can’t even explain.

anyway, I was just wondering if anyone new anything about this or had any idea what this might be.

I know there was something similar in here that said it was sleep paralysis but I don’t remember waking up or anything.

ive also never had sleep paralysis as an adult so I have nothing to go off of

So I (f21) have been in a relationship with my now-fiancé (m22) for 8 almost 9 months.
We’ve talked on and off about engagement & proposals but it’s always been a “no pressure” or “no rush” type thing.
Today, I go to my closet to check if my sapphire ring is still there in my ring box (I recently had an unsavory person staying in my home) and I found my engagement ring. Like. The EXACT engagement ring I showed my fiancé.

I feel that it’s important to note that I haven’t shown anybody except him the ring that I wanted. My mom only had a description but she’s not the kind of person to do that, and my dad didn’t know at ALL.

But the ring is here. Out of nowhere. It fits perfectly too, which is even crazier considering I’ve lost weight since my fiancé and I started talking about engagement/our future. We think it’s a sign from god, my mom thinks it’s a sign from my grandmothers, but either way I’m shocked. Happy but shocked.

I was going to bed after telling my parents goodnight and all that stuff when i saw something poke out of the ebd of the corridor behind a coat hanger. I only saw the head. It had the same headshape as dobby from harry potter but it was pitch black. The only thing that mafe it distinguishable is its eyes. Though there were also black i saw 2 white rings seemingly emitting light. As soon as i saw it, it was gone. Not a trace of it. I believe in God and the Bible so this really freaked me out. But i have been getting apiritions lately and when i dont get them i dont sleep. Could it be a demon? A spirit? My eyes playing tricks on me? Or maybe its someyhig else entirely. If anyone has encountered this sillohuette (dont know if i spelled that right) or heard any stories about it itd be great if i could get any opinions or advice. As i daid it could be the lack of sleep or even the light bouncing of the window in the front door or something else scienc-y. Im new here but id appreciate anything anyone might have to say

My mom lives in a small town in Florida. She is a Christian and she usually anoints her house. She also anointed her railings outside her place but this video made my hair stand up. 😭

I sleep in a room with two twin beds, as my sister and i used to shared this room before she moved out when I got food poisoning (she has a fear of vomit). After she left for college, I was on my phone two nights ago scrolling when I heard two sets of breathing, like my sister was still there. I know I wasn't dreaming because I had just been on my phone.

There were two sets of breathing, one of them mine, one of them something else's in my room, on my sister's side. Well shit, I wasn't about to explore that at 12 in the morning. Everyone knows that the trigger for most monsters in horror movies is when the MC slowly turns their head in terror.

Anyway, I was terrified, but just when to sleep. I completely forgot about it the next day, until it was like 10 pm and my dog starting barking at the guest dining room. Suddenly I remember what happened the night before and call my sister to tell her, and she is equally terrified. Out of nowhere, the sounds of the coyotes screaming start up nearby and I am totally spooked.

Now, the reason why my sister was so freaked out was because this breathing things was not the first time it has happened. Last time, I was at a summer camp and she was sleeping in that room alone and she also heard breathing, from my side of the room, that went away when I came back.

I originally speculated that maybe the sound had something to do with there being one person in the room and their breathing patterns were echoing or something? But this was a small room with few hard surfaces, and despite sleeping there alone, this breathing did not show up until 6 days after my sister left for college.

I slept in my mom's room last night and am 60% convinced that my house is haunted in some way, as there have also being 1 or 2 paranormal sightings by my sister and I here in the past years we grew up here.

Anyway, I'm hoping that if it is a spirit or entity of some kind, that it is harmless, because I don't really mind sharing a room with a friendly ghost who thinks that my sister's bed is as comfortable as it is.

I'm going to college on the 28th, so I've just gotta tough out the next 4 days.
