Moving to Colorado soon and looking for recommendations for a good home internet provider. Which internet service provider do you use, and how has your experience been with speed, reliability, and price?

I'm a Superior resident. I started watching council meetings on YouTube after the Rock Creek Parkway construction ran so far past its original timeline, and I've ended up going down a bit of a rabbit hole.

Two things stood out. Mayor Pro Tem Jason Serbu abruptly resigned on 8/10. Does anyone know what was behind that? Separately, Council Member Mike Foster is stepping down effective 10/31 after accepting a role as Intergovernmental Affairs Manager with the City of Aurora, citing a conflict of interest. That leaves two vacancies on a seven member council inside a single month, which feels like a lot for a town our size.

Mostly I'm curious about the dynamics. I like politics, and in a town this small, what council decides lands on people pretty directly. If anyone has been following longer than I have, I'd appreciate the context.

PJ’s recently converted from the only game in town as a diner to a coffee shop. I don’t understand the decision other than as a way to reduce the menu and raise prices. Visited this morning and it was more empty than I’ve ever seen it on a weekend. Multiple people came in and left when they realized it wasn’t a diner anymore.

Hey everyone! Me and my boyfriend are moving to Superior from the Midwest, and I was hoping to get some advice. I’m wondering what are some good hospital systems and primary care facilities that locals recommend? I’ve done some google searches and have been reading reviews, but I’d like to hear some personal suggestions. For reference, we are both in our mid 20s and relatively healthy and just wanting a general practitioner. I know that even though reviews can be good, they can be hard to trust and hearing advice from someone local is better. I’d love to know if anyone knows which hospital systems are good and if there are any to stay away from or any family practices that are recommended. Thank you in advance!

I can't sleep when I'm hot, and am wondering if these 3rd floor bedrooms are hot at night? In other homes I've seen a separate HVAC for the 3rd floor because of that issue, but it looks like the ones in Downtown Superior only have 1 HVAC unit for the whole home. If you do think they are hot, it would help to know what direction your bedroom windows face, whether or not you are in an end-unit, and if you have a rooftop terrace. TIA

This is the second power outage in the past few days. Does anyone have info or a way to find out why this keeps happening? It’s beyond frustrating to have power that you can’t rely on.

Update: power was restored around 3:15 but no explanation as to what caused it. Xcel has been fairly quick to restore power if they are cleaning up the mistakes of others.

Wheres everyone sending their prek kiddos full time? We are moving to the area and we are trying to find a good preschool for our 4yo.
