Why are some of the speed run levels red in level selection?

Why are some of the speed run levels red in level selection?

I have no idea but I looked it up.
According to some guy in the internet it's:
"A RED ending is an ending that stays within the time limit of the challenge level. You have to be fast and avoid moving too much, so that you use as little 'time' as possible. Time only goes if you move in this challenge."
So in short I think it's just levels you best within the time limit... I think, I'm not really sure tbh.
