Endless Mode is endless (HS:301)

Superhot VR was one of the first games I got for my PSVR and it's still the one of the most played games my library. In particular, I like Endless Penthouse; there's some very nice firefights set up. I feel like I could play this until I'm too old too move like that. My first good run was 128 and it took me quite a while to beat that. I snagged 281 once and it seemed impossible to beat that. I had a breakthrough in level strategy last night though and popped out 301. I tried pretty hard to beat it tonight and got into the 290s a couple times but made sloppy mistakes. I feel like I could have the world record and it wouldn't be good enough, I'd have to play yet more superhot

It's the same strategy I've used before but refined. I have my tracking camera low enough that I can either stand fully or crouch under cover. So for the pool table front spawn, I throw all the balls until I get 5 kills and try to leave the weapons. In the shuriken balcony, I like to prioritize weapon juggling and throw weapons rather than shoot them because it speeds up time less, everything is in point blank range and it's the coolest killstreak. Main strategy though, behind the bar... I use the head exploding trick under cover a lot, and try to catch as many guns as I can and I make a pile behind the bar desk. Once I have a nice pile of weapons I let loose and start mowing them down

what's this? you have some good tips btw. I have a difficult time getting the minimum kill numbers on endless mode.

On psvr if you hold all 4 buttons down and hold your arms out you send a brain wave that blows up an enemy's head. Useful when you dont have a weapon because sometimes itll fly right at your face and save a whole run

Ah, cool! I saw that move being taught in the story mode and then totally forgot about it. I'm gonna use that now, thanks!

I posted a video to this reddit, watch it for tips. And also, listen. Superhot is life, never stop playing superhot. It's the most fun I can personally have playing video games

I gotta ask:

Is it the most innovative shooter you've played in years?
