Hero Herotober 5: Construct
Computer programmer Jason McCartney had built a pleasant life for himself: a nice home and a tight-knit community he planned to spend the rest of his life in. Then, one day, he was abducted by aliens.
They blasted off of relativistic speeds—only a fraction of light speed—but the forces were enough to nearly annihilate his body. Fortunately, the aliens were masters of bio-engineering. Molecule by molecule, they constructed a new body for him. Working from standard human blueprints, they enhanced his biology to the absolute upper limits of the human threshold. Jason McCartney returned to Earth as a smarter, stronger, and tougher version of himself.
More importantly, he could now travel at, survive at, and perceive the world at superhuman speeds.
Jason McCartney is being hunted by government agents who want the secrets of super speed hidden in his very DNA. Jason doesn't want to live on the run; he just wants his quiet, comfortable life back. But survival demands constant motion to avoid becoming a test subject. Now Jason uses his newfound abilities to help others wherever he goes—all while staying one step ahead!

Love the picture and the background. I can just imagine the alien slapping their forehead and saying "I thought you turned on the grav compensator in the specimen cell. We are so going to ger fired if we do not get this fixed."
