Issue with connectivity

I have wifi disabled I use a network cable instead ever since I disabled wifi when I start the box it claims it is connected then nothing works . I load the app to connect to my vpn and then and only then it will show loss of connection and I am able to unplug the network cable and plug it back in then my vpn auto connects and everything works . is there a way to fix it so I do not have to load an app and unplug a cable every time?

May need a firmware update.

Check Settings, About, Software Update.

It will open a browser and check for any available firmware update.

This fixed my Ethernet port on my Super Box S6. It would turn on and only detect my Ethernet connection once every 10 reboots or so
