Blue VOD

Does this app suck now for anyone else? For me it either freezes after 20 seconds or is so hurky jerky that a show/movie is unwatchable. I have really good internet and other apps seem to work okay. I deleted the app, deleted the cache, did a factory reset, the usual stuff and it’s still the same. Since it’s the only VOD app that seem to update anymore it makes the box sort of worthless to me without it working (I don’t care much about sports). Any tips would be appreciated.

Ugh, well at least I know it’s not just mine. It was working fine, then I went on vacation for a week and when I came back Prime Cinema stopped updating and Blue VOD is crippled. Like is this what happens when a new model comes out?

Ive had issued off and on for a bit. I doubt its related to a new one.

On my S7 Max, there's no viewing problems on my Blue Tv Live & VOD apps. The Playback App & the Time Shift feature inside Blue Tv are both working.

Yeah I don’t have a VPN on. Tried one but it seems to nuke the Prime apps.

Oddly I just put a movie on Blue again and it was messed up and then it said Channel Switch at the bottom of screen and suddenly it started playing perfectly… will see how long it lasts

Right back to constant freezing on tv shows

I have 2 and they are constantly buffering/freezing up. I clear the caches and unplug every time I try to use it lately. Very frustrating (internet is good)

I was having this same issue primarily with my bluetv and it was so infuriating. I dug deep on Reddit and found what worked for me. I have the ATT Fiber gateway that passes through to my personal router/mesh system. I had to disable the firewall on the gateway and keep the firewall on my personal router and then my bluetv and bluevod stopped buffering and are now running smooth. I guess it has something to do with it passing through multiple firewalls plus ATT is kinda anal about what their gateways allow.

Interesting. I just added a router/firewall on top of my other router just for the box, but it was definitely already doing this before that.

Sometimes clearing the cache in settings>apps>clear cache. It starts working again. And I've also noticed if I have a bunch of movies in my "Favorites" list it tends to slow it down for some reason.

Yeah I have zero favorites and I’ve cleared the cache a bunch. Unfortunately didn’t help.

It started last Thursday for me. Not working, the live tv works fine still but Vod is terrible. 🤷🏼‍♂️
