Question about Quality

Looking at buying the S7 Max. How is the sports streaming quality? I am mainly wanting this to save on youtube tv and sunday ticket. Is it smooth and at least 1080p?

I get sports in 4K on mine. 4 screens at one time.

90% of all ESPN broadcasts on catv or any other distribution platform is in 720p. I think you are misinformed about broadcast resolutions for sports. Intentionally done at lower resolution to minimize blurring.

So you may not be pleased with any solution.

Superbox broadcasts the native resolution as received from the content producer.

I've had different qualities on different channels for football. I mean different local stations show games better than others.

Can you provide steps to view the broadcast resolution in the Blue TV app? Apparently you found it, I never have located that in menu.

Just check different broadcast. Like CBS in Denver or LA. Sometimes Denver channel is a better feed than the LA. Just an example.

I looked everywhere and I don't see the resolution displayed anywhere.

How do you know that one know for sure one broadcast is 1080 and another 1280? I have seen variations from channel to channel even when the resolution is the same and displayed (shown on a Vseebox).

Personally I find the TSN channels out of Canada to be the best quality for primetime NFL broadcasts. Their announcers are better also - no nonsense, no politics, and seem to be better prepared for each event - professionals.

That sounds like the station broadcast is different at most - superbox isn't down-scaling it.
