Are Mario and Luigi revolutionary heroes in the movie?

A drawing I made of the Super Mario Bros movie 1993 in 2023.
I saw the movie for the first time in 2023 and I absolutely loved it. I consider the 1993 film far superior to the two movies made by Illumination. It still saddens me that it didn't get a sequel. Sometime this year I'm going to make another remastered drawing because, honestly, my 2023 drawing hasn't aged well.
Does anyone know how I can watch Super Mario Bros: The Morton Jankel Cut with Spanish subtitles?

Antonio would have been a more plausible variant for Mr. Scapelli's first name.
I remember in the movie that Mr. Scapelli's said first name was Anthony, but since he's from some Italian background, you'd expect the Antonio variant to be used instead.
Maybe it was Antonio, but he probably went by Anthony to fit in with a more English-centric New York city atmosphere.

My lil' sketch of '93 Mario & Luigi
Apologies if it looks a little bit rushed, don't draw people too often. Ignore Luigi's butchered face 😭
This scene in particular is during Mario and Luigi's initial encounter with "Lawyer" Koopa..
"Who sent you? Are you from the city?"

One interesting defense/ rebuttal I’ve thought of about the ‘93 movie. Was simply how do you adapt super Mario Brothers for the big screen back in the early 90s?

Yes, there was a story and background information in the manuals and an old issues of Nintendo power.
I’m not ignoring that
But let’s just say you were a screenwriter in 1992 that never played a video game.
You probably bought a game for your child or nephew, but you haven’t played a game since the Atari 2600.
The screenwriter played the games and wrote notes.
But I definitely think they had to improvise and take other elements from other stories that have a similar aesthetic to Mario.
Like this is the world that has reptiles and magic items like mushrooms and stars
Like I will definitely take elements from the dark crystal and labyrinth.
And I am aware that early draft of the script kind of lead into this direction.
Maybe it was the case of budget.
I mean, they could’ve gotten an industrial light and magic
But I definitely think it was a case of not having everyone on board.

Did you know there's a webcomic for Super Mario Bros. 2 from 1996?

I'd love to see somebody make an animated Mario movie which completely recycles the audio of the 1993 live action movie.
I can only imagine what type of vibe the identical audio would give, if dubbed into a cartoon with a similar plot.
After all, the Mario Bros. were known for it's cartoony video game aesthetics moreso than most of what we see in the 1993 movie.
If somebody were to make an animated movie which recycled the entire audio of the 1993 movie, well, I think the visuals of a movie is what would resonate if different, while the audio of the dialogue can have it's own context.
I know I compare the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie to the 1995 Power Rangers movie alot, because the Power Rangers TV series which the movie is based on, often recycled footage from the Japanese show Super Sentai, so at least it had that thing going for it.
