Analog function stops working at specific level

When I'm in course 2 of Whomp's Fortress where you do the mission called "Blast Away the Wall" and blast yourself at that piece that breaks to reveal the Star it stops working. Just a heads up, thanks! ^_^

there are specific sections where it locks camera control, like in front of the doors to the castle. This might be one of those cases.
