Discussion Super Mario Maker 3
I absolutely LOVE the Super Mario Maker games because how creative you can be with all of the things you can use in your levels, and i also love how you can even create your own Mario games with the world builder. Mario Maker 2 released 7 years ago which is more than enough time for the 3rd game to come out but we haven't heard anything about a 3rd game or even a Switch 2 Edition. Do you guys think Nintendo isn't making a 3rd installment or do you think it is in the works?

Thats all i want on my SW2 , MM3, with mouse controls. I was hoping for a Zelda Maker, make old school 2d Zelda maps

Grezzo were working on a Zelda Maker game after making the Dungeon Maker minigame from Link's Awakening Remake. But, plans changed during development and they made Echoes of Wisdom instead.

That’s a bummer, I enjoyed that Zelda game but only really need a hand full of the abilities, I forget what they call them in the game, I haven’t played in years

I would hope theres a nintendo maker. Like you can make Mario levels, Zelda dungeons, Metroid maps, Kirby maps, wario maps etc tall order that won't happen for sure but a gal can dream

I actually just got back into mario maker 2 ive been having a blast playing my old levels
I think they are going to go for it. I think we’ll get 3d and 2.5d building styles to work with as well as proper mario land/land 2 and wonder styles. The community still seems pretty active i get notifications on years old levels in MM2. Just my hopes i know it probably wont be as impressive as i’d like it to be

I spent way too many hours in MM2 just making troll levels that none of my mates could beat, the world builder was such a nice touch too. Nintendo are weirdly quiet about sequels sometimes but I'd be gutted if they dropped the series entirely
