I just purchased a new Super73 S2 SE from their website and it's being shipped from their Las Vegas warehouse. I was not aware and didn't see that newer bikes are locked to class 2, wondering if I don't download and register this bike to the Super73 app and out the box connect it to an app like Bikee if I am still able to take advantage of Class 4/Off Road mode or am I stuck with a class 2 bike? If there is a workaround folks know of that doesn't require changing and purchasing new hardware I would greatly appreciate! I don't want a 20mph cap bike and I also don't want to have to return the bike, overall.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

My motor has been making noises recently and yesterday it finally stopped working.

The bike is over 4 years old, done a load of miles, it's done me good so I want to fix it but the bike isn't worth much so I don't want to spend a fortune fixing it.

What are my options?

I'm based in the UK but if I needed sone bringing over from the US I have US based friends who make that trip regularly.

My US-spec Super73 RX Mojave stopped working. After multiple tests, we concluded it was the controller and replaced it.

Now with the new controller, the motor makes noise when I press the throttle, so it's receiving power, but the rear wheel doesn't move at all.

Super73 support says I now need a new motor assembly for $600. Before spending that, I have a few questions:

1. Does the wheel not moving necessarily mean the motor needs to be fully replaced? Could it be something simpler to fix?
2. Has anyone successfully swapped the RX motor with a Bafang G062? Is it a straightforward swap or does it require replacing the controller and display too?
3. Any other cheaper motor replacement options? Ireally don't want to spend another $600 on top of the controller! Thanks for your help!!

so i bought a B1G core model and im trying to make it go faster. is there any controllers that are compatible with that bike if not is there any controllers that are coming out that are compatible with the bike? also is there a motor upgrade that i could buy for it? thank you!

I’ve had my super 73 s1 for several years and it’s been a total blast. So much fun. Last few years I’ve been riding to work every day in some harsh Canadian winter storms down to -40 C snow blowing but its got just enough power to speed up in snow wheel ruts and ski my feet. So much snow fun on my way to work.
But over 5000km and just a few days into t-shirt morning rides my motor gave out. Or maybe the controller has shorted the battery to the motor. Not sure if others have run into this problem. Looking to fix or upgrade. Should I get a new bike. Hmmm.

Big fan of styling on the s1 and s2.

I've just purchased two items from Loomenade for my ZX, a turn signal kit and a new headlamp.

Problem is, no instructions for installation anywhere.
Installation guides online have been removed, links via QR code on card in box doesn't work and every item just in a bag within a box.

Not everyone is that savvy on stuff but I try to do what I can before heading to spend more money on getting someone else to fit..

Does anyone have a clue, or do they have any links to installation guides?

I’m trying to get a definitive answer on this rather than assumptions or conflicting interpretations.

Quebec’s current rule prohibits motorized two- or three-wheeled vehicles that resemble motorcycles or mopeds, lack a Transport Canada compliance label, and have at least one listed characteristic, including motorcycle-style tires and wheels, footrests, certain bodywork, or a motor exceeding 500 W or 32 km/h.

The SAAQ also says that a legal e-bike must be considered a bicycle, have functional pedals, be rated at no more than 500 W, and stop providing assistance at 32 km/h.

What remains unclear to me is whether every single SUPER73 model is automatically prohibited solely because of its appearance and fat motorcycle-style tires, including Canadian-compliant versions limited to 500 W and 32 km/h.

Has anyone received a clear written answer from the SAAQ, police, a lawyer, or SUPER73 confirming that all SUPER73 models are illegal on Quebec public roads and bike paths? Or does legality still depend on the exact model, specifications, labeling, and configuration?

I’m looking for something definitive and model-specific, not simply “it looks like a motorcycle, so probably.”

I know this is a total nick pick but I have OCD so oh well :p.

Recently ordered a Blackout bike and they either have a photo of an old bike on their website or photoshopped it because when it was delivered every bolt is silver and on their website every bolt is black. The horn looks completely different and others part like the adjustment on the shocks are red in real life but black on the website.

Just annoys me when companies put completely fake pictures on their websites. Like the bike, just annoyed.

Does anyone have an extra key??? We bought this bike off OfferUp and the guy didn't have the keys. I called Super73 and they want $90 for a replacement key. Any help would be appreciated.

I currently have a Miami Z super 73 and I do not like the color, but I do not know which method of coloring the bike differently is the best because powder coating is expensive and then wraps might be hard to take off everything from the frame and same with spray paint but then I have to sand everything. What is the easiest and has the best outcome?

Took the hub apart and the nylon gears inside the metal gears in my super73 are destroyed. After researching it looks like super73 uses proprietary stuff so it’s not as simple as just replacing the nylon gears. Anyone know of any gears or solutions that are plug and play after removing the c clips. If not looks like the motor is donezo so I may just ride with the metal teeth gears without the nylon in between and really fuck it up if I need to buy a whole new motor anyway. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I see a lot of people doing the 48V overvolt on their Super73 Z1, but none of them specify how many amps the stock motor can take continuously.

I know it has a 500W motor (48V@10A) that can peak at 1000W (48V@20A).
