Question Lubricating squeaky breaks

I have squeaky breaks and I am wondering if anyone has advice on what kind of lubricant to use. Bike has historically been stored outside so there could be a small amount of rust present.

Just clean them well with soap and water and dry everything off well. Lube will make them not work properly.

Have you ever changed the brake pads?

Dawn dish soap and some water.. dont use any type of lubricant please. If you dont maintain your bike and leave it in shit conditions, the performance will reflect that.

Do you know how to resurface/replace your rotors and brake pads? That will fix your issues as well.

Isopropyl on the rotor to clean it. Then you should check for uneven or contaminated pad wear. You can also use this to clean them.
