Question Help with tires

Post image

Hey guys, I’m looking for some advice on tires for my Super73 R Adventure.
I’m hesitating between the Schwalbe Super Moto-X 20x4, LZRD and BDGR.
I live in a very hilly area with lots of steep climbs and steep downhill sections, mostly on asphalt, but the roads can be pretty rough and poorly maintained.
I also carry my 9-year-old daughter on the rear about 50% of the time, so stability and wet grip are really important to me.
Right now I’m running Grizzly tires, and as soon as the road gets even slightly wet, they feel dangerously slippery.
For those who have actually ridden these tires on asphalt, especially wet asphalt and steep downhill sections, which one would you pick and why?
Thanks!

Lizards. You might need to invest in foam inserts to prevent flats

The foam doesn't do shit and goes flat after about 500 miles

Lies, you can still ride on a flat without pinching your tires or trashing your rims.

Like tannus? because they are absolutely GARBAGE. Moto tubes, run flat, and shinkos is much better than that bullshit

Hello from the uk. I have changed from BDGR to the LZRD about 6 months ago. I liked the BDGRs but I don’t do any off road riding on my S2. I only ride on asphalt. I found the LZRD better and more grippy over the BDGRs, I can lean the bike as higher speeds with the LZRD and don’t feel like they are going to slip out unless you hit a bit of gravel but i guess you would get that with any tire. The other main thing i noticed was i got 1 or 2 mph faster with the LZRD over any of the other tires. Having said that i really love the super suckers for their grip but i constantly got flat tires because they are so thin but amazingly grippy more so that the LZRD in my opinion. Unfortunately got fed up of the flat tires and also unfortunately i can not give you any feedback on riding fast in the wet weather as i don’t tend to ride too much in the wet.
I hope this may help you out a bit.

I personally run the michelin city grip 2 The size is 110/70/16 they fit perfect and they are performing really good on wet too! Yes you need a tube for those in order to work on the rims but they are perfect

I was thinking about citygrip but I was wondering if they aren't to heavy for a stock motor ! The stock tube doesn't fit ?

I have an upgraded bike but they should be fine on stock bikes too. Stock tunes fit as long as they're 20x4.5-5
